The Okanjati Wildlife Sanctuary was founded in 1975 by Jan Oelofse, a world-renowned conservationist.  Hundreds of species of birds and mammals can be sighted in this area, including elephants, black and white rhino, hippo, giraffe and numerous antelope ranging from Kudus to the diminutive Damaraland Dik-Dik. Predators, such as lion, leopard and cheetah also roam this area.  Mount Etjo Lodge is nestled within the sanctuary, providing the perfect place to relax and experience Africa.

Take a glimpse into this wonderful corner of the world.
