Kalahari Springbuck

Springbuck are the most numerous antelope specie in the area.

Springbuck can be found on open savanna and grass plains, where they can be seen in groups of hundreds of animals.

When Springbuck get excited they open a pouch on their backs and expose a tuft of long white hair, accompanied by a stiff four legged jump (pronk).

Both male and female have horns, the male's horns are heavier and longer with a average length of 14 inches.
